Don’t be fooled into thinking Charlie’s “designed by one woman for all men” Hoover is a feminist statement. As Charlie explains, “there are a lot of single guys out there, and now they have a great way to enjoy vacuuming”. Charlie’s Ohio numberplate is also a cheeky reference to Hoover’s early days, as Hoover was patented in Ohio in 1908 – she’s clearly done her research!
